Today (10th January, 2008) Tata Motors has launched the world’s cheapest car - “Tata Nano.” The car was unveiled by Ratan Tata, Chairman of Tata Group, inAuto Expo today. The car is priced at Rs. 1 lac (Rs. 100,000) for the dealers. The car will be commercially launched in second half of 2008.
